About Us: 

The Congolese Action Youth Platform (CAYP) is a self-funded community group dedicated to advocating for the recognition of the Genocide in the Democratic Republic of Congo under the campaign #Genocost. Additionally, we support and promote cultural events and initiatives within the Congolese community.

We are looking for a volunteer campaigner to support our event and campaigns in London.

 Requirements: 

– Familiarity with the DR Congolese community in London and the current humanitarian crisis in Eastern Congo.

– Attendance at Congolese community events in London.

– Ability to organise events, book venues, network, and represent CAYP in various settings.

– Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to produce short content to assist the social media team.

– Ability to speak French, Lingala, or any other Congolese language is beneficial.

– Availability for a minimum of 2 to 4 hours weekly.

– Reliability and effective communication skills with the team.

– Access to a laptop/tablet and availability to work remotely.
